It's Monday and it's time for our Let's Talk Segment. Some months back, I was having one of those long convos with Johnson. We talked about about so many things and all of a sudden, we heard "your sweet orange is here!" Hian! I checked my time, it was 8:18pm. I couldn't understand how a little girl will be hawking oranges at that ungodly hour. Uncle had to plead with me to buy some oranges. I opened my door and I saw one tiny girl like that. That girl is not more than 8 years old. She had a tray of oranges on her head. I had to buy the last one and I shared with my roommates.
Why will you turn yourself into a baby-making machine in the name of looking for a male child? The most annoying part is the fact that you'll have a male child, but you are still giving birth to children. When you are done, you'd start looking for people to share your children to so they can work as house helps. Nobody really owes you anything. If people decide to help you, thank them. You are not anyone's responsibility. If you feel that it is your job to give birth to so many children, do that o. When you send your child to one Aunty or Uncle and they treat your child badly or they do not take proper care of your child it's your fault.
Family planning is very important. If you are among those that plant their seeds everywhere, you better go to the nearest hospital and plan your life. If you know someone who had 6,7,8,9 or even 10 children in this recession, biko, drag the person to the nearest hospital. Don't listen to "my husband doesn't like family planning!" Who husband help for this matter?
