Hey people, how are you doing today? Happy Valentine's Day, how is it going to be and how are you? How e go be today? Hey boo, how is it going to be today? Well, I was so happy yesterday, I don't even know why. I pray this divine happiness and peace will last forever. Meanwhile, I didn't watch OBFW (Our Best Friend's Wedding) yesterday. I had to work on my project abeg. The series is not going anywhere. I'll not leave my room today. Make sure you have fun, don't be like me. Be spontaneous. Shout out to blog reader Helen, you rock.
You are welcome to the Valentine's Day edition of Tuesday inspiration. The goal of this segment is to tell us the importance of moving forward. We are going to talk about the dangers of procrastination today. The English dictionary defines procrastination as "the act of postponing, delaying or putting off, especially out of habitual careless or laziness." So many people are fond of procrastinating, Gift Ogechi Oreoluwa Wogu, take note. We always think we have the time at the end of the day, we do things haphazardly. We will be given assignments, we won't do that assignment and the night before the day we are to submit the assignment, we won't sleep, we would scream "these lecturers want to kill us in this department!" when we want to kill ourselves. We won't read our books, the day before the exams, we'd start talking about how difficult our department is. We have big dreams, but we would keep in procrastinating which is very bad. Most times, sleep will not let us be great.
I was in church on Saturday and I felt the speaker was speaking directly to me. He urged us not to postpone anything, tomorrow has it's own activities. Stop deceiving yourself that you work better under pressure. Do the right thing at the right time. The bible warns us that there is time for everything. Know your prime time and utilise it. It's very possible to combine so many activities and combine them well. If you can't, stick to what you can do and stop procrastinating. Procrastination is very bad, do what you have to do now. Most people are where they are now because they refused to do the right thing at the right time.
I don't want to talk again abeg. There is love in the air, it's Valentine's Day! Like I have any plan sef. Make sure you have fun, we only live once. Thanks a lot for visiting. Don't forget that today is all about love, God is love. Spread love not hate. Stop procrastinating, go out there and do what you have to do when you are supposed to do it. If you have been procrastinating before, help yaself. I'm waiting for a Valentine's Day text from my mum, she does that every year. We love each other like that. Oya, I have to face my books. See you later!
