If you are a lady and you wear trousers, you are going straight to hell...

Yes, you are going to hell. I didn't say that o. The pastor said it o. God told him the last time he went to heaven. He even made a CD with regards to the issue and many people have bought that CD.

Hey blog readers, how are you guys doing? Happy new month, happy new week and eku simi o. Ask my mum the meaning of eku simi o 😁. I have less than 4 months to be done with school. I can't wait.

You are welcome to the Let's Talk segment of our blog. Today, we are going to talk about the unfortunate ones that hell fire await because they have refused to desist from wearing trousers. Infact, if you wear ripped or distressed jeans, you are going to the hottest part of hell. No be me talk am o.

You know this is not the first time you've heard something like that. I listened to something a pastor said one time like that. The man claimed that he went to heaven and God told him that ladies that wear trousers, weaves, makeup and all are going straight to hell. He claimed that trouser is not our culture, but he forgets that wearing suits is not our culture, Christianity is not even our culture. You want to accept the one that suits you and abandon the other one, right? He said when you wear trousers, you are not decent, you don't even have the fear of God in you. So, those that brought the religion to you are going to hell too, abi? Do you know that you can still look decent when you wear trousers? This is really not a big deal. The belief that ladies who wear trousers are going to hell is fallacy. Do what is right.

Let's be decent in the way we dress. Trousers, skirts, gowns, everything damn thing. Don't believe everything thing you hear sha. People with their countless trips to heaven tire me.

Dear blog readers, what do you think? Leave a comment and have a beautiful Monday. Happy workers day and eku simi o.

Dress/Cloth is for covering, it now depends on the wearers idea on this piece of material, it should actually cover the body in a reasonable and not offensive manner. Eku Simi too... lol

In olden days Greek, Romans, etc. Wore skirts (the type may differ). In Scottish culture, men wear a form of skirt. When horses became common means of transportation, there was decline in that trend. Trousers are easier to mount/ride the horses.

The point I am trying to make is that types of clothing that belongs to woman or man is a question of:

1. Culture
2. Period in time

Some cultures where men wore skirts in the parts now don't find men in skirts. In fact, it would appear "inappropriate" for a man to wear skirts in such cultures now.

So, were they sinning by wearing skirts then or are they sinning now by wearing trousers?

When people quote Deuteronomy 22:5 as a backup for their argument that women shouldn't wear trousers.... It is just ridiculous.

Deuteronomy 22:5 did NOT mention trousers... and did not list types of clotting for men and women.

My own understanding of that passage of the Bible is that you should dress APPROPRIATELY according to dressing styles of your culture/region/society.

For example, I being a man shouldn't wear skirt in this period in Nigerian culture. It is completely odd.
