I started this year on a very high note.
2017 was an awesome year. I graduated, i got a job, i started a new gig which keeps growing, i won two awards. The first is my faculty award and the second is a state award. Your favourite baby girl was given the award of the Outstanding Young Author in Abia state, i felt so fulfilled. It's Gift Wogu two point one (2.1). I turned 21 last year and 21 is the coolest year ever. How beautiful can your year be?
Oh, i forgot to apologise for being a lazy blogger. As much as i would love to share part of my life with you all, i have to work on my conflicting schedule. The job is biting, it's taking my time. My relationship is suffering and i hardly have time to breathe. The only great part is the fact that i love writing so it's not that hard.
Right now, reality is hitting me really hard. I should join NSG in her 29 and single girl in Lagos, Nigeria campaign, but i'm 21, kinda single and Nigerian.
The journey to work itself is crazy. People making you lose the fragrance of your perfume as you force your slim self to be comfortable in a tattered and smelly bus where you have to be 5 in a row. You don't want to be unfortunate to sit with a plus-sized person. Itr's almost a death sentence.
I don't have much to say, but in 2018, i want to talk less and do more. I want to build relationships, i want to be less sarcastic and mind my business more. I want to learn to stomach nonsense, but i don't plan to be a stupid girl. I want to become a better writer and define my career path. I smell Nollywood, the fragrance is strong and it fills the air, but let see how it goes.
